Back in March of this year, the Charlotte Observer noted that with Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools closed due to COVID19, that many students were going without breakfast and lunch meals. To aid with addressing this issue for students and families, the Chambers-McCain Foundation provided funding to assist Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina in their efforts to provide meals.
